2 sources state Brighton player completes medical – Announcement on way

AC Milan are a step away from completing the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion’s Pervis Estupiñán.

The Serie A side have reached an agreement with both the Seagulls and the left-back.

On Wednesday, we covered multiple claims from Italy explaining that the Rossoneri were exchanging documents with Brighton. It was also reported the 27-year-old was expected to arrive in Italy yesterday.

According to Sport Mediaset, the Ecuador international arrived at Milan’s Linate Airport on Wednesday to complete his move to the San Siro

The Brighton player is said to have undergone medical tests at Clinica La Madonnina and then visited Centro Ambrosiano for fitness tests.

After completing these physical tests, he arrived at Milan’s headquarters to sign a five-year contract worth €2.5m per year. Estupiñán will wear the No.2 shirt at the San Siro.

All that’s pending now is for Massimiliano Allegri’s side to make the defender’s arrival official.

MilanNews.it are also reporting the Ecuadorian completed his medical with the Italian club yesterday. He then visited Casa Milan to sign a four-year contract with an option for another year and will be given the No.2 shirt. Sport Mediaset reports it’s a five-year deal.

According to the outlet, Milan are expected to make Estupiñán’s signing official today.
