The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that they had re-signed Bobby McMann to a two-year contract extension. The contract’s average annual value is $1.35 million.
McMann, 27, has 18 points (10 goals, 8 assists) in 40 games with the Maple Leafs in the 2023-24 season. The Wainwright, AB native has 19 points (10 goals, 9 assists) in 50 NHL games for the Maple Leafs and 71 points (49 goals, 22 assists) in 118 AHL games with the Toronto Marlies.
Before becoming pro, McMann scored 92 points (37G, 55A) in 145 NCAA games for Colgate University. McMann served as captain for the 2019-20 season and was chosen to the NCAA (ECAC) Third All-Star Team.
