The Dallas Stars traveled to Tempe, Arizona, to face the Arizona Coyotes, and they went on to win three straight games. The Stars beat the Coyotes 4-2 at Mullett Arena. Dallas improved to 44-19-9, while Arizona dropped to 29-37-5.

The Stars scored quickly to start the first session. At 4:21 in the first period, Stars captain Jamie Benn scored on a slap shot, giving the Stars an early 1-0 lead. Wyatt Johnston provided the lone assist on Benn’s 16th of the season.
The Coyotes tied the game at one each to end the first period scoring. At 18:44 in the first period, Clayton Keller blasted a wrist shot into the Stars’ net to tie the score at 1-1. Keller’s 30th goal of the season came with assists from Nick Schmaltz and Michael Kesselring.

The Coyotes pulled their goalie for an extra attacker, but the Stars capitalized on the empty net. Matt Duchene fired a wrist shot into the Coyotes’ net to make it a 4-2 game at 18:30 of the third period. Tyler Seguin collected the lone assist on Duchene’s 24th of the season.
The Stars defeated the Coyotes 4-2 at the end of regulation. Dallas outshot Arizona 35-28 after a full 60 minutes.
