The Dallas Stars traveled to Tempe, Arizona, to face the Arizona Coyotes, and they went on to win three straight games. The Stars beat the Coyotes 4-2 at Mullett Arena. Dallas improved to 44-19-9, while Arizona dropped to 29-37-5.

The Coyotes pulled their goalie for an extra attacker, but the Stars capitalized on the empty net. Matt Duchene fired a wrist shot into the Coyotes’ net to make it a 4-2 game at 18:30 of the third period. Tyler Seguin collected the lone assist on Duchene’s 24th of the season.

The Stars defeated the Coyotes 4-2 at the end of regulation. Dallas outshot Arizona 35-28 after a full 60 minutes.
