Done Deal: Adirondack Thunder intends Signing Another forward due to Eric Alarie move

GLENS GALLS. The Adirondack Thunder, a proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils and Utica Comets, has signed forward Eric Alarie to a regular contract.

Alarie, 21, had 39 points (17 goals, 22 assists) in 60 games this season with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League. Prior to joining the Thunderbirds last season, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native spent parts of six seasons with the WHL’s Moose Jaw Warriors, finishing seventh on the team in 2021-22 with 58 points, trailing four NHL draft picks.

In 280 regular-season WHL games, the 6-foot-1, 196-pound left-shooting forward scored 187 points (79 goals, 108 assists) and logged 91 penalty minutes.

The Thunder come home on Friday and Saturday for Stick it to Cancer Weekend. Paint the Ice Night takes place on Friday, and a postgame jersey auction will support Glens Falls Hospital’s C.R. Wood Cancer Center on Saturday.
