This is highly disregarded by NFL: George Kittle breaks out clear statements regarding his contract

After George Kittle, the San Francisco 49ers still lack a trustworthy number-two tight end option. While Ross Dwelley is still a free agent, Charlie Woerner has signed with the Atlanta Falcons.

After signing him to an offer sheet, the 49ers are hoping to sign a restricted free agent.Dave Birkett reports that Brock Wright signed a three-year, $12 million offer sheet with the 49ers.

On March 7, the Lions exercised their original round tender right of first refusal over Wright. In this tender, which is worth $2.985 million for one year but isn’t guaranteed, Wright is free to accept offer papers from other teams and the Lions have the option to match. Wright was not drafted, therefore the Lions will not receive draft compensation if they choose not to match the offer sheet.

Wright began his rookie campaign on the practice squad and was added to the Lions’ active roster on November 8. In 301 (48%) offensive snaps, Wright caught 12 passes on 17 targets for 117 yards and two touchdowns while playing in 10 games, starting five of them.

Because the Lions moved T.J. Hockenson to the Vikings on the NFL Trade Deadline, Wright had his best season ever in his second year. With 18 receptions on 24 targets for 216 yards and four touchdowns in 591 (52%) offensive plays, he participated in 17 games, starting ten of them.Dave Birkett reports that Brock Wright signed a three-year, $12 million offer sheet with the 49ers.
