Rookie Colt Keith recorded his first career hit, a dribbler through the infield, thanks to his hustle down the line. Javier Báez also had a base knock for the Tigers, despite a poor spring performance. Andy Ibáñez scored the Tigers’ lone run on a sacrifice fly, giving Detroit a 1-0 lead.
