Burroughs Signs with ECHL’s Iowa Heartlanders

The Iowa Heartlanders of the East Coast Hockey League announced on Wednesday that they have signed Owen Sound Attack overage forward Ethan Burroughs to a contract for the remainder of the season. Burroughs played in first game on Wednesday night, scoring Iowa’s second goal of the game in a 6-2 loss to the Kalamazoo Wings.
“It has always been my dream to play pro hockey” said Burroughs. “I am grateful to the Iowa Heartlanders for giving me this opportunity. This is the first step I the next chapter of my hockey career.”
