Fort Wayne, Indiana (WFFT) Anthony Petruzzelli, who has played for the Fort Wayne Komets for the past six seasons, will not be returning.

The 5’9 forward will travel to the United Kingdom to play for the Guildford Flames.

Petruzzelli was the K’s captain for the past year and a half. He appeared in 370 games, scoring 105 goals and totaling 227 points. Petruzzelli’s time in “The Fort” helped the Komets win the Kelly Cup in 2021.

Petruzzelli will join former Komet player Oliver Cooper in the Elite Ice Hockey League, where he will play for the Belfast Giants.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — After suiting up for the Fort Wayne Komets the last six seasons, Anthony Petruzzelli will not return for the black and orange.

The 5’9 forward is off to UK to play for the Guildford Flames.
