On Friday, Miami Dolphins wideout Braxton Berrios took to his Instagram account, posting a heartfelt goodbye to the 305.
Berrios signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins last offseason, and after just 16 games, the two parties will not reunite next fall.
The former All-Pro poured his heart out via social media, saying, “I hated to see this one end. This year was one I’ll forever be grateful for; I got to come back to the city I call home and play for my childhood team.
I’m thankful for all my guys I got to share the field with and everybody else in that building that made coming to work every day fun.” Miami Dolphins fans reacted strongly to his departure, wishing his tenure with the team resulted in more success.
Berrios’ Instagram post made its rounds on Twitter (also known as X), with Miami Dolphins fans mostly disheartened by the news. Others believed Berrios never lived up to the offseason hype he received during his signing. The Miami Hurricanes product finished this year with 27 receptions for 238 yards and one score. He also operated as the team’s primary punt and kick returner.
Y’all blaming berrios for lack of production when our quarterback does not target tight ends or slots
