JUST IN: Another Gonzaga Player Withdraws from the NBA Draft

The 2024-2025 roster is near being complete but is Ismaila Diagne in or out?

Michael Ajayi is officially a Zag for his final season of college eligibility as he withdrew his name from the 2024 NBA Draft.

The member of the All-WCC First Team averaged 17.2 PPG (led WCC) on 46.7 FG% and 47.0 3PT% to go along with 9.9 RPG (2nd most in WCC) this past season with Pepperdine before he transferred to Gonzaga during the spring.

Even though he impressed many at the NBA Draft Combine, he didn’t shoot up many mocks as he had hoped.

This is what Gonzaga’s starting lineup is looking like:

Ryan Nembhard

Nolan Hickman

Michael Ajayi

Ben Gregg

Graham Ike

Khalif Battle will be on the top sixth men in the country. Braden Huff, Dusty Stromer, and Steele Venters could start almost anywhere else in the country. The depth is for real and this roster ready to compete for a national title.

According to BasketNews, Ismaila Diagne of Real Madrid has signed with Gonzaga but this hasn’t been confirmed. The 7’0” 17 year old would act as a rim protector and fill the final scholarship spot. More to come on that final commitment in the near future.
