Indianapolis Colts key player suffers career-ending injury……..

Indianapolis Colts tight end Drew Ogletree was arrested on Friday and charged with domestic battery, as shown by Hendricks Country court records.

More specifically, Ogletree is charged with domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old.

These are both level six felonies and the court record have shown that he was being held without a bond.

 

“We are aware of the disturbing allegations involving Drew Ogletree,” the Colts said Friday in a statement. “The team takes these matters seriously. We have notified the NFL and are in the process of gathering more information. We will have no further comment at this time.”

Incident took place on Boxing Day

The ordeal started when the Avon Police Department got called to a house on December 26. They had received a report “regarding a physical domestic between an adult male and adult female,” according to WTHR in Indiana.

 

According to Fox 59, the victim was “body slammed” during an argument.

 

At the scene, Ogletree was detained by the officers present and the victim was quickly taken to hospital so that they could be treated for their injuries.

 

The young person at the scene when the attack happened was Ogletree‘s son, according to ESPN. The arrest warrant was issued on Thursday and Ogletree turned himself in on Friday.

 

The Colts are currently second in the AFC South behind the Jacksonville Jaguars, with an 8-7 record.
