Shonga was introduced to South African football by the Orlando Pirates in 2017.
He made over 70 appearances for the team.
Shonga scored 16 goals and provided 16 assists.
The footballer left the Orlando Pirates at the end of the 2019/20 season.
He then joined Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila, who had just acquired the status of Bidvest Wits. Justin also played for major teams such as Cape Town City, Sekhukhune United, and the Egyptian side Ismaily SC.
