Good news:Cebo Mchunu’s Future with Pirates to Be Decided After Spain Preseason..
Young talent Cebo Mchunu, who joined Orlando Pirates last year following an impressive performance with Bizana FC in the Khabba Cup, has returned to the club and will join their pre-season trip to Spain.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Pretoria Callies in the Motsepe Foundation Championship to gain experience. He made his professional debut in a draw against Black Leopards and went on to play ten games for the team.
The Soweto giants are heading back to Spain, where they will face La Liga side Sevilla in a friendly match on July 15. Prior to that, Jose Riveiro’s squad will kick off their preseason campaign against English Championship team Plymouth Argyle on July 12.
To wrap up their tour, Pirates, the reigning MTN8 and Nedbank Cup champions, will play against Al Sadd SC from the Qatar Stars League on July 19.
