Bearman, a product of the Ferrari Driver Academy, has secured a 2025 Formula 1 seat with Haas, theoretically on loan from Ferrari. The 19-year-old is hopeful he can eventually progress to a drive with the sport’s most iconic team.
Next season, Hamilton is moving from Mercedes to Ferrari, which should lead to the British duo working closely together. Despite being with Haas, Bearman is expected to stay involved.
“I believe he’ll bring a wealth of experience to the team,” Bearman told Sky Sports at Silverstone after confirming his multi-year contract with Haas ahead of the British Grand Prix.
“Winning seven world championships is a rare achievement. He’ll bring a strong, winning mentality to the team, and his talent is undeniable. He’s one of the greatest to ever compete.”
