Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark, known for their fierce rivalry in women’s basketball, have a history that includes high-stakes NCAA tournament games, including two Final Fours and a national championship clash. Now, their rivalry has transitioned to the professional level.
On Saturday night, however, the two were united as teammates for the first time, leading Team WNBA to an impressive victory over Team USA in the WNBA All-Star Game. Reese posted a double-double performance, while Clark, despite scoring just four points, contributed 10 assists, including key passes that set up Reese’s 12-point performance.
Reese spoke about the experience of playing alongside Clark during the game broadcast. “It’s amazing. I know that whenever she has the ball, I’m sprinting to get open because I trust she’s going to find me,” Reese said. “Playing with her has been fantastic. Looking ahead, we’re likely to play together a lot more. Hopefully, in four years, we’ll be Olympians together.”
