NHL: New Bruins Star Omitted from Top Centers List Following…… Read more

This new Boston Bruins forward was removed from the top NHL centers list.

The 2023-24 season was challenging for new Boston Bruins center Elias Lindholm. Over 75 games with the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks, the 29-year-old scored 15 goals and accumulated 44 points. This production fell short of Lindholm’s usual standards, but given his past success, he certainly has the potential to rebound.

Despite having the tools to regain his offensive form, Lindholm’s disappointing season resulted in his removal from the NHL Network’s latest Top 20 centers list, where he had held the No. 20 spot the previous year.

Given his drop in production last season, it’s understandable that the NHL Network excluded him from this year’s list. However, considering Lindholm’s previous achievements and his expected role as Boston’s first-line center for the 2024-25 season, he has a good chance to improve his offensive output, particularly with the opportunity to play alongside superstar forward David Pastrnak.
