Former Wigan Warriors, Huddersfield Giants, and England half-back named new head coach in the Super League.

Luke Robinson, the former half-back for Wigan Warriors and England, has been named the new permanent head coach of Huddersfield Giants after an interim period with the Super League team. At 40 years old, Robinson has agreed to a three-year contract to lead the team at John Smith’s Stadium, taking over from Ian Watson, who left the club in July.

Robinson, originally from Halifax, was recruited by Wigan as a youth player and advanced through their ranks, making his debut in the 2002 Super League season when he was only 17.
