The ‘Serbinator’ has granted the wish of ‘The Tower of Tandil’! A recent video showed Juan Martín del Potro, the 35-year-old Argentine tennis star, expressing his dream to play his final match in Argentina. He even invited Novak Djokovic to attend this exhibition match, scheduled for Sunday, December 1, at the Mary Terán de Weiss Stadium in Buenos Aires. Djokovic quickly agreed to participate in ‘The Last Challenge,’ and fans have enthusiastically applauded the Serbian player for his generous act towards one of his most notable competitors.

Novak Djokovic is expected to travel to ‘La Albiceleste’ in late November and may also attend an official dinner event before participating in the exhibition match. Therefore, tennis fans in Argentina are in for an early Christmas present, with all the credit going to their tennis star, Juan Martín del Potro.

The 35-year-old had initially planned a farewell match at the 2023 US Open, but it was ultimately canceled due to his ongoing knee injury. He faced significant fitness challenges in the later years of his career and underwent several surgeries. Despite these difficulties, his impact on tennis in Argentina has been immense. He has won 22 singles titles, including a Grand Slam at the 2009 US Open. Fans are now thrilled to see him face Novak Djokovic in the final match of his professional career.
