Twelve years ago, I was celebrating my victory in the Junior division at the European Karting Championship, while Max secured the Senior title at my home track, PFI.

This weekend, the World Karting Championship is being held at PFI, and it brings back memories of the hard work, passion, and the dream of racing at the highest level.

It’s easy to get caught up in the everyday pressures of life and racing, but looking at these old photos reminded me of the kid who was driven to reach F1.

This is a reminder that dreams don’t come true overnight, but with dedication, they just might.

Best of luck to everyone competing in the World Karting Championships this weekend. Give it your best—you never know where it could take you.
