Red Hot Chili Peppers Unveil New Album and 2025 Global Tour Featuring Original Lineup and Unreleased Tracks
Red Hot Chili Peppers fans have plenty to look forward to, as the legendary band has just revealed plans for a brand-new studio album, set for release in early 2025. Alongside the album, the band will embark on an extensive world tour, with stops scheduled in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
The forthcoming album, still untitled, will showcase the classic lineup: Anthony Kiedis on vocals, Flea on bass, Chad Smith on drums, and John Frusciante on guitar. This marks their first major release since the 2022 albums *Unlimited Love* and *Return of the Dream Canteen*. Speculation suggests that the new record will feature both fresh songs and previously unreleased material from their decades-long career.
Guitarist John Frusciante expressed his excitement, saying, “We’ve been jamming and writing a lot over the last few years. This album feels full of energy and is a natural step forward for us, while keeping the signature Chili Peppers sound. We can’t wait to share it and hit the road again.”
The 2025 tour will launch in Los Angeles, where the band was formed, before heading to major cities like New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, and Sydney. Fans can look forward to a setlist packed with classic hits, as well as surprises, including live debuts of previously unperformed tracks.
Tickets for the tour go on sale next month, with exclusive pre-sale options for fan club members. Special VIP packages, including limited-edition merchandise and meet-and-greet opportunities, will also be available.
Fans are buzzing with excitement, especially about Frusciante’s continued involvement, which has reinvigorated the band’s sound since his return in 2019. As the group nears its 40th anniversary, the Red Hot Chili Peppers show no signs of slowing down, with the new album and tour marking the start of another vibrant chapter in their illustrious career.
