Old World Industries (OWI) has announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with John Force Racing (JFR), which will include continued primary sponsorship of the PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant Chevrolet SS driven by Jack Beckman in the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods drag racing series. Beckman, who won two races in 2024 while temporarily filling in for JFR founder John Force, will now return to full-time competition in the NHRA Funny Car category for the first time since 2020.
Beckman, a former NHRA Funny Car champion in 2012, is set to chase another title in 2025, continuing his relationship with PEAK and BlueDEF brands. He has a strong racing pedigree, having won 37 NHRA national events, 35 of them in Funny Car. His experience also extends beyond driving; Beckman has been an instructor at Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School for 11 years, teaching thousands of students, including the Force family.
The PEAK Chevrolet SS, sponsored by PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant, will be driven by Beckman as he competes for the championship in the NHRA Funny Car class. In the 2024 season, Beckman filled in for Force after the racing legend suffered a traumatic brain injury in a high-speed crash. Despite being sidelined, Force, who remains under medical care, continues to make progress in his recovery. Beckman’s performances in 2024 showcased his capabilities, as he finished second in the points standings behind teammate Austin Prock, winning in St. Louis and Pomona.
Brian Bohlander, Director of Sports Marketing for OWI, expressed enthusiasm about Beckman’s return to full-time racing, praising his professionalism and results on and off the track. “Jack has done a tremendous job, and we’re excited to see him race full-time in pursuit of the championship,” said Bohlander.
Beckman is excited to continue his partnership with PEAK and BlueDEF, acknowledging the importance of using high-quality products both on and off the track. He has long relied on the reliability and performance of PEAK and BlueDEF products in JFR’s support vehicles and haulers.
John Force, who remains dedicated to his recovery, expressed his gratitude for Beckman’s role with the team and his ongoing efforts to get back to racing. “I miss being out there, but I have a lot of things left to do, and I’m not done yet,” Force said. The 2025 season will mark another chapter in the long-standing partnership between JFR and its sponsors, with Beckman now the team’s full-time driver.
