THE KING IS BACK: James Stewart Returns to Challenge Eli Tomac’s Throne

In a shocking move, motocross legend James Stewart has announced his return to professional racing, setting his sights on the 2025 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

The seven-time AMA Supercross champion and two-time AMA Motocross champion will come out of retirement to challenge reigning champion Eli Tomac.

Stewart, widely regarded as one of the greatest motocross riders of all time, has been absent from professional competition since 2016.

However, the 39-year-old veteran has been secretly training and preparing for his return, fueled by a desire to reclaim his throne and prove his doubters wrong.

“I’m not just coming back to ride, I’m coming back to win,” Stewart declared in a statement. “I’ve been watching Eli Tomac dominate the sport, and I’m hungry to show him that I still have what it takes to be the best.”

Tomac, who has won four consecutive AMA Motocross championships, welcomed the challenge from Stewart. “I’m excited to have James back in the mix,” Tomac said. “He’s a legend of the sport, and I’m looking forward to battling him on the track.”

The stage is now set for an epic showdown between two of motocross’s biggest stars. Will Stewart’s experience and determination be enough to dethrone Tomac, or will the young champion prove too strong? The 2025 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is shaping up to be one for the ages.
