Jack Rudoni Completes Shock Permanent Move to Newcastle United in Deal Worth Over £25 Million

Newcastle, UK – In a surprise move that has caught many by surprise, Jack Rudoni has signed a permanent deal with Newcastle United worth over £25 million. The 23-year-old attacking midfielder, who impressed with his dynamic performances for Coventry City, now steps up to the Premier League with high expectations.

Sources close to the club confirm that Rudoni has agreed to a five-year contract with the Magpies, keeping him at St. James’ Park until the summer of 2030. Newcastle manager Eddie Howe reportedly sees Rudoni as a key piece in his midfield rebuild, citing his vision, work rate, and technical quality as crucial attributes for their evolving squad.

“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Newcastle United,” Rudoni said in his first interview as a Newcastle player. “This is a massive club with incredible fans, and I can’t wait to give everything on the pitch and take this next step in my career.”

The deal makes Rudoni one of the most expensive signings in recent Newcastle history outside of their marquee acquisitions, showing the club’s renewed faith in young, domestic talent. He is expected to compete for a starting role immediately as Newcastle push for European qualification.

Rudoni, who scored seven goals and registered ten assists in the 2024/25 season with Coventry, will join up with the Magpies for pre-season training in early July.
