Everton fans could be set to see one of their favourite stars sign a new contract in the coming weeks, as the good news keeps on rolling in at the Hill Dickinson Stadium – with goalkeeping icon and England international Jordan Pickford set to sign on the dotted line, according to reports.
Everton chiefs have already tied young England star Jarrad Branthwaite down to a new bumper contract, with new owners The Friedkin Group clearly stamping their authority on the Toffees’ future – and an encore of keeping their best players may not be far away, with Pickford close to extending his stay.
Report: Pickford ‘on Verge’ of Signing New Everton Deal
The Toffees stopper could see out his career to become a real Everton legend
The report by The Sun states that Pickford is on the verge of signing a new four-year deal on Merseyside, earning a ‘huge increase’ on what the publication estimates to be a current £115,000-per-week deal.

Toffees boss David Moyes is ‘close to shaking hands’ with the England No.1, who recently turned 31, and a four-year deal would see him continue his Toffees career until he turns 35, seeing out the prime years of his career at the club’s Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Having already spent eight years at Goodison Park after joining from Sunderland in 2017, Pickford has missed just 11 Premier League games in that time and has become one of England’s best-ever goalkeepers in terms of success for the Three Lions – and in a new era for the club as they depart their beloved Goodison Park, talks have sped along for him to see out the bulk of his career in the blue half of the city, where he has been called ‘outstanding’ by new No.2, Mark Travers.
His current deal only has two years left, but a pay rise is in order to see him become one of, if not the best-paid player at the club. The report further states that despite being on the radar of clubs such as Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in the past, Pickford is settled under Moyes and has not pushed for a move to a club that has played in Europe during his time at Everton.
GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Jordan Pickford has made 76 appearances for England at international level.
Having played in every Premier League game since 2022, as well as 324 top-flight appearances overall, he could go on to become the highest-appearing goalkeeper in the division’s history, needing another 248 to overtake David James – roughly another seven seasons in goal.
