Max Clark, the No. 3 pick in the 2023 MLB draft and a graduate of Franklin High School, will represent the Detroit Tigers in the 2024 All-Star Futures Game.

Clark, 19, is one of two Tigers players chosen for the game, which will be held at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 13 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The game will be broadcast on MLB Network, MLB.TV, MLB.com, and the MLB App.

Clark is the top prospect in the Tigers’ organization and the 10th overall prospect in baseball. Currently playing for Single-A Lakeland, Clark has a .277 batting average, .379 on-base percentage, five home runs, 50 RBIs, and 24 stolen bases in 66 games this season.

During his time at Franklin, Clark was named the Gatorade National Player of the Year. He hit .646 with nine doubles, five triples, six home runs, 52 walks, and only five strikeouts in 28 games as a senior.

Clark is the highest draft pick from Indiana since Bryan Bullington (Ball State) was selected No. 1 overall in 2002. The highest an Indiana player was drafted straight out of high school was when Kokomo’s Pat Underwood went No. 2 to Detroit in 1976.
