Ferrari boss Fred Vasseur has revealed that Lewis Hamilton will be with the Scuderia for at least three years.
While the specifics of Hamilton’s contract were previously unknown, Vasseur disclosed that the long-term deal offers more than just driver stability.
“Lewis was an important symbol because it sends a positive message to the paddock about the future of the team,” Vasseur told the Financial Times regarding the seven-time World Champion’s signing.
“He had to decide, ‘Where do I have the best chance to win the World Championship in 2025, ’26, ’27?’ And he chose Ferrari.”
“For us, he’s also the best way to attract top talent. We have good people at Ferrari, but I want to reinforce our team.”
