The 22-year-old departs Villa having won the FA Youth Cup in 2021, before making his senior debut in a 1–1 draw against Zrinjski Mostar in December 2023. That appearance remained his only first-team outing for the club.

Marschall most recently spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Crewe Alexandra, making 46 appearances in League Two and keeping 16 clean sheets.

His first loan spell away from Villa came in January 2022, when he joined Gateshead for the remainder of the 2022/23 season. He returned to the National League side a year later, before heading to MK Dons for the second half of the 2023/24 campaign.
