Everton are now just a matter of days away from their opening Premier League game against Leeds United.

Questions will remain as to whether David Moyes has the squad capable of matching the high ambitions of The Friedkin Group.

During the recent United States trip, the 62-year-old voiced his concerns over the lack of incoming on Merseyside.

“In the past, I have had to sign a lot of players, but I’ve never had to do so many in one window,” said Moyes.

Everton have since signed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, in what will be viewed as a major addition to the squad.

It is believed those at Everton think Dewsbury-Hall is a big upgrade on their current options in midfield.

There may still be a few weeks of transfer business ahead, but Joe Cole and Owen Hargreaves have already shared their early predictions for the new campaign.
