“Agreement on everything” – Manchester City player closer to leaving after manager meeting

There’s a claim in the Turkish media Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson is edging closer to a transfer to Galatasaray.

The Brazil international has been linked with the Istanbul giants in recent weeks as they look to sign a goalkeeper.

Haber Sarikirmizi cover comments made by Yağız Sabuncuoğlu in which he said Ederson has agreed personal terms with Cimbom.

The Manchester City player has reportedly had a meeting with Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk to discuss a potential move and they’ve been in contact with the Premier League side to discuss his transfer fee.

“Ederson has reached an agreement on everything. Agreed on a salary of less than €10m. Galatasaray also called Manchester City and said: ‘We will never go above €10m. If you’re okay, we’re okay.’

“Okan Buruk met with Ederson and told him about his plan,” said the journalist.

There have been recent reports Galatasaray doesn’t want to pay more than €10m for Ederson and are also hoping they can pay in instalments.

It’s been widely reported Galatasaray are looking to a sign an experienced No.1 after club legend Muslera returned to Uruguay last month. Liverpool’s Allison has also been linked with a move to the Super Lig champions this summer.

Ederson made 40 appearances in all competitions last season and is contracted to Manchester City until June 2026.
