Aston Villa have made an offer to sign Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara, according to reports in Turkey.
Unai Emery’s side are reportedly ‘constantly testing the waters’ regarding the 26-year-old Brazilian and are among the Premier League clubs interested in a summer move.
While Manchester United have previously been linked, Leeds United are also said to be admirers of Sara, who only joined Galatasaray from Norwich City in a reported £20m deal last summer.
The Turkish club insist the midfielder is not for sale, and the situation is only expected to change if an ‘incredible’ offer arrives.

Sara penned a five-year deal with Galatasaray upon his arrival last summer and was a key player in a memorable campaign for the Turkish club.
The ‘magical’ Brazilian helped Galatasaray secure a league and cup double, their first since the 2018/19 season, and made 45 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals and assisting 10 more.
Sara spent two seasons with Norwich in the Championship and was named the club’s Player of the Season in his first year (2022/23).
He was also included in the Championship Team of the Season last term, following a standout campaign with 25 goal contributions in 46 appearances for the Canaries.
