Newcastle United are closing in on a move for Jacob Ramsey, with Aston Villa ready to sell around the £40 million mark.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle United are inching closer to getting a deal in place to sign Jacob Ramsey from Aston Villa. The attacking midfielder has reportedly snubbed offers of a new deal at Villa Park, which opens the doors to a sale in the region of £40 million.
Considering the influence of PSR increased on Premier League clubs and the way they do business in the transfer market, it is hardly surprising that Jacob Ramsey has been linked with a move away from Aston Villa. The homegrown talent’s sale could fetch the club a good chunk of cash as pure profit, which will benefit Unai Emery’s side in the short and long term.
