Longtime Penn State Football Analyst Frank Leonard Announces Retirement

University Park, PA – Penn State football is bidding farewell to a key member of its coaching staff, as analyst Frank Leonard has announced his retirement. Leonard, a veteran coach with over three decades of experience, has been an integral part of James Franklin’s staff since 2014.

Leonard’s retirement marks the end of an era for Penn State football. During his tenure, the Nittany Lions have experienced a resurgence in success, including a Big Ten Championship in 2016 and several bowl game victories.

“Frank has been an invaluable member of our staff, and his contributions to our program will not be forgotten,” Franklin said in a statement. “We’re grateful for his dedication, expertise, and passion for Penn State football. He will be deeply missed.”

Leonard’s departure will undoubtedly leave a void in the Penn State coaching staff. However, the program is well-equipped to adapt, with a talented and experienced group of coaches remaining on board.

As Leonard rides off into the sunset, Penn State football fans will remember him fondly for his tireless work ethic, his love of the game, and his commitment to the Nittany Lions. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations of Penn State players and coaches.
