Newcastle United have delved into the market so far this summer to bring in attacker Anthony Elanga from Nottingham Forest. It has been a frustrating window for the North East outfit so far, with the majority of their transfer advances met with a solid brick wall, only for their targets to join other Premier League clubs. Nevertheless, they have until the deadline on Monday 1st September to bring in some new players.
Eddie Howe’s side are back in the Champions League and that should boost their chances of bringing in their targets. They kick-start the new 2025/26 Premier League season with an away trip to the Midlands to face Aston Villa. The Toon Army then face champions Liverpool in their first home game.
