The Ohio State Buckeyes have secured a commitment from the No. 6 overall recruit in the 2025 cycle this afternoon.
Five-star defensive back Devin Sanchez – 247Sports’ No. 1 CB (No. 2 Composite) in the Class of 2025 – announced his commitment to Ohio State during the All-American Bowl on Saturday.
“For the next three-to-four years, I will be taking my talents to THE Ohio State University,” Sanchez announced.

The Buckeyes have now secured their fifth hard commitment of the 2025 cycle, with four-stars Tavien St. Clair and Blake Woodby – as well as three-stars Jayvan Boggs and Eli Lee – already committing to Ohio State earlier this year.
Sanchez is the first five-star recruit in the Buckeyes’ 2025 class.
Per 247Sports, the commitment moves Ohio State up to No. 11 in the 2025 recruiting team rankings.
