Despite a very strong start to the summer transfer window, Chelsea are still looking to spend plenty more money before the September deadline.
Reports have stated that the Blues are closing in on deals for Dutch pair Xavi Simons and Jorrel Hato, with player sales playing a part in their interest in both.

Renato Veiga is expected to leave this summer, while Ben Chilwell remains firmly out of the plans, leaving no obvious rotation option for Marc Cucurella.
As for Simons, Joao Felix is set for a move to Al Nassr, while interest remains in the services for Christopher Nkunku despite his impressive Club World Cup.

Gianluigi Donnarumma must be the priority signing for Chelsea after Jorrel Hato and Xavi Simons
Earlier in the summer transfer window, there was strong interest in a new goalkeeper, with the likes of Mike Maignan and Gianluigi Donnarumma linked.
The Blues have walked away from Maignan after failed negotiations with AC Milan, however the Champions League winner remains an option this summer.
Chelsea fans got a good enough look at the goalkeeper during the recent Club World Cup final. While he was helpless up against three magnificent goals, he did make a stunning save to deny Liam Delap in the second half.
