visit to Ohio State football: ‘It was a great experience’

Crosby’s take aged poorly as the Buckeyes responded from the rivalry loss by winning the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff.

Despite the comments getting back to Day, according to Crosby, the standout defensive end was allowed in Ohio State’s facilities.

Crosby — a native of Lapeer, Michigan, who attended Eastern Michigan — visited Columbus earlier this month. He got to use OSU’s facilities, play his music while working out and meet some of the current Buckeyes.

“Ohio State facilities welcomed me with open arms and rolled out the red carpet for me,” Crosby said on his podcast last week. “…It was a great experience.”

Crosby also spoke highly of Ohio Stadium.

While the Raiders play in front of 65,000 fans at Allegiant Stadium, Ohio State’s home hosts more than 100,000 on a regular basis.

“Big shoutout to the Buckeyes,” Crosby said. “As everyone knows, I grew up an Ohio State fan — die hard Ohio State fan. I know I had some comments about our guy, but he came through. What did I say? He’s got to win a natty, and look what they did.”
